DEBORAH INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S FELLOWSHIP
(Debi-Fe)

A Word from Lady Anne C. Odurukwe, President of Debi-Fe

Deborah International Women’s Fellowship (Debi-Fe) is one of our most cherished avenues, where local and international women of diverse colors,Photo of Lady Anne Odurukwe cultures, or religious backgrounds come together to share their testimonies and life experiences in walking with Christ, with the aim of achieving a dynamic cross-cultural, healthy fellowship. They come together to be challenged to become women of mission and purpose, destined to bring change to their local churches and communities. At Debi-Fe, we assume a lot of basics, and hopefully function at the "cutting edge" of the women's diciplines. Our vision is that you will find a place in Christ, thereby discovering your gifts, then become motivated and trained to fulfill your chosen vocation most acceptably in Christ.

Debi-Fe was born out of a "Midnight Cry" 12 years ago, when my husband and I were pastoring one of our churches in the villages. Today, there's a sense of urgency about women's needs. The glow of this cry has continued to spread like fire across Nigeria, Cameroon, Ghana, Kenya, the Philippines, Canada, and the USA. Therefore, God has specifically chosen you to join hands to tend the fire, for your sake and for the sake of those whom your life impacts through the transforming power of God's Word. The timing of the Lord in your life in this fellowship is unique. Arise: please join hands with the Debi-Fe family around you! Become a life saver in the women's world, and together we can make it happen for His Name's sake - Amen! Just from my heart, your friend, Lady Mrs. Anne C. Odurukwe, President.

THE MINISTRY OBJECTIVES

The Debi-Fe minsitry objective is to give hope and freedom to women around the world. This includes women who have been traumatized within society, cultures, or environments, or those that have been abused emotionally, physically, or mentally in their families. As Deborah became the beacon of hope and freedom to her generation (Judges 5:7), so must we encourage the women of the 21st century to be as well. We must know that hope andfreedom stimulates curiosity, which leads one to discover the gifts and promises that God has made in His Word. To achieve this objective, Debi-Fe mingles kindness with spirituality in all her endeavors in reaching women around the world.

"...A woman's life is affected by whether the future prospect of her womanhood
is one of hope or one with despair..."

This is the philosophy that guides the Debi-Fe Ministry in all her efforts
to a lasting change in women!

THE MINISTRY GOALS (Abridged)

The Chistian woman is commissioned by God to teach and share the Good News around her community. This extensive field starts from concepts in Matthew 28:10&19 where Jesus instructed His disciples to share the Gospel in Gallilee and with all nations. The primary piece of equipment for the Burdens "nailed to the cross"commission is the Word of God. Debi-Fe is faithfully committed to making her utmost priority to teach the Word of God, withthe aim to take women out of the cycle of despair and to establish their feet, rooted on the path of God.

Now after these women have accepted Christ as their Lord and Savior, they begin to prepare themselves for service to God. Those who have no current place for Bible study or fellowship would join the Debi-Fe weekly "Horizon Class." The most exciting thing during the Horizon Class is that these women , even though they felt that their past might have caused them to feel worthless, are taught how to triumph over the struggles caused by change in their lives.

For a godly women to be effective in her daily walk with God, she must first have a renewed mind that is focused on God (Romans 28:10&20). Throughout the tenure of her ministry, there are classic gateways through which she passes in terms of relationship and assurance. These relationships and assurance are vital qualities that sustain her as a Christian woman in her unequivocal commitment to her Lord. Scripture directs us not to be vague but to firmly grasp what we know to be the will of God about our lives (Ephesians 5:15).
